I’m slowing shifting from rapid (10 mins) to blitz (5 mins) so probably blitz

Blitz chess
Rapid is best for progress, especially 15|10 as the increment allows 10 seconds/move to win a won position or draw a drawn position.
Blitz is for fun only.
Bullet is for the super dextrous.
Daily is too inhomogenous. You may think for a day and your opponent for a second.
Classical is best for progress, but not suitable for online play.

Some beginners play to fast sometimes 5|3 time control or something like that is better
Enough time to think but not enough time to just stall or sleep on your chess 10|0 should be fine for most people typically rapid might be the best for most people but if you don't know what your doing you get stuck really easily I had a guy playing pretty much 30|0 and above and was stuck at 500 elo till I showed him a trick and for whatever reason even tho I didn't tell him he played shorter time controls which I think helped (even if it's something like 10|5 )
The problem is if you don't have good time management which most beginners do not it's difficult to improve at any time control or if you just sleep on your moves and don't think
