Fun game! Maybe it would have been a bit more strategic if it were turn based in my opinion. Anyway, it's definitely good practice for improving your visualization skills.

Sounds like a mix between the classic arcade game "Space Invaders" and chess...
Might be worth a look! When I have some free time I'll check it out.
Thanks!

It's a fun game, but I disagree that it has nothing to with actual Chess skill. Some players know how to get to certain squares faster than other players due to their Chess skills.

The above link is to an intersting little arcade game called "Crazy Chess" because it is played on a chess board. I implore everyone to give it a chance, and possibly watch yourself befall to its addictive nature.
Anyway, the gameplay goes as follows:
First, place your Knight anywhere on the empty board. Then simply click onto squares that would normally be available to a Knight. The object is to munch away the flood of pawns that will slowly but surely descend upon your base (the 1st-rank) from the a void unseen behind the 8th-rank. Also, along the way, you can pick up gold coins and other "power-ups" that will randomly scatter themselves across the board. Overall, a fun game to take a break-from-the-board with while you've still got 64 squares on the brain. :)
There are 4 difficulties on which you can start playing; Novice, Amateur, Pro, & Grandmaster. I recommend to everyone starting at the Amateur level, as your actual Chess skill has nothing to do with this game, and the Novice level is just unbarebly slow, at least in the beginning. (Grandmaster level is unlocked until you have only reached so far in the Pro difficulty)
(Before I go, I should note that I'm well-aware that this post probably is better suited for the "Fun With Chess" forum board, but I'd like to see this topic get a little more action, and I'm hoping it'll be safe in the General section)
