Further i would like to add more. I learned a lot as a correspondence player that is to be familiar with the patterns that are very basic when you play otb. Even i am the most arduous member to see some research is needed in middle games. So i would expect that you should develope your owns method and that should be practical and easy.
You learn fast when playing correspondence chess.

It is the best version when playing chess on internet because you learn a lot of things very fast. To tell you the truth i just learned that the knight on queen side and on its original square is an asset even if it is not developed. I can not relate that game because it is not yet finshed but i would the most proabl win it because i have ahead by a whole rook.
i'm glad you clarified that this statement is true. i certainly would have thought you were lying. how fast did you learn this new found wonder about your queen side knight?
