I took my first AP test last year and got a 5 (believe it or not) on the AP Environmental Exam (which everyone says is the easiest science AP). Most, like 99% of people in my grade who were taking it with me also got a 5. And I go to public school, not private school

Keep grinding. It'll pay off. And don't pay no mind to losers that like to goad people on the internet.

Believe me my IQ level is FAR MORE THAN 9000+

Stop at 15000, enough is enough.

Ah ha. Your fatal mistake.

With these clues I've gotten close to finding your identity.

You're a cellist in NY... that narrows it down to... I don't know... 2 or 3 million people? lol

Not that many.  There will be more violinists, flute players, vocalists, and pianists.  Cello is rare enough that if he wants to play as an amateur, he will find performance opportunities.

What's really needed nowadays is organists.  Churches need organists, but students aren't taking organ any more.  The school my wife teaches at has a very nice music school.  From what I understand, they didn't have any organ majors last year.  My daughter was told by her piano teacher and by a minister I work with that if she can play organ, she can work every Sunday.

And no one wants to play bassoon.

I had a friend in school that bought a Mustang convertible because her daughter played double-bass.  They would lower the top, put the double-bass in the back seat, and then raise the top again.  Can you imagine bringing a double-bass on the subway?  (I can.  I brought a DX-7 and amplifier on the subway from the ends of Brooklyn to Manhattan for gigs.  Not as big as a double-bass, but the weight of the amp was more than the double-bass.)

I could be wrong, but I understand a sandbagger to be a player who loses games on purpose in order to lower their ratings.  That way they can play in tournaments for limited groups of players and win.  I suppose this is equivalent to the kids who take laxatives before Tae Kwon Do tournaments in order to drop into a lower weight class.  (Don't laugh; I've seen it done.)

A troll is a person who posts things to forums and other social media sites in order to cause arguments, etc.  (I've occasionally been called such in political discussions.  As a Libertarian, I tend to piss off both Democrats and Republicans.  Sometimes at the same time.)

But I could be wrong.

Meanwhile this thread accuses me of being a sandbagger when I have yet to participate in a single tournament?   I suppose the OP seems a troll then!

I've noticed that words loose their meanings in political discussions.  Do you know how often people on the Right accuse someone on the Left of being a socialist?  Do you know how often people on the Left accuse someone on the Right of being a Nazi?

Both socialist and Nazi have actual definitions.  Neither accusation is true in most cases.  (Socialist and advocate of welfare states are not the same thing.  Being a Nazi means being a supporter of genocide, not merely being a racist.  And that's another term that's thrown out without regard for definitions.)

It appears the same thing is going on in chess discussions.

Getting political:  Socialism means centralized control of the means of production.  (Communism means governmental ownership of the means of production, a special case of socialism.)  It has nothing to do with welfare.  You can have a capitalist economy and a welfare state.  (Whether that's sustainable is a different question, having nothing to do with socialism.)

The belief that income redistribution through governmental welfare programs is a good thing may or may not be sustainable.  But it isn't the same as centralized control of the economy.
