Question: how does chess.com determine which players connection caused the problem? I am no techie, but am showing "all bars" strong right now, and have no other connectivity issues whatsoever on any other platforms I am using.
Thanks in advance,

The traffic goes from client 1 -> Server -> client 2 so if the server determines that you disconnected, that means it isn't able to communicate with your client.
There are some things you can do on your end:

Hello everyone. I was just wondering if anyone else has had connectivity issues with chess.com during the middle of live games?
My internet connection is showing that it is quite strong at the moment - and just now, a game (that I was winning) "auto-resigned" because my, "connection is (was) unstable.
Quite frustrating.
