1 month diamond gift - query

Hi all,

I've got a notification that I've been gifter 1 month diamond by my friend, however I've already got gold until 2022. 

Do I have to wait until my Gold membership expires to be able to use that gift? 

How does it work? 

Wish I could use it now.

You might be able to upgrade automatically since you should have credit. Just be sure to choose the month option and downgrade once the month is up or you start using some of your gold credit.

Basically, you go to the membership option, choose Diamond, change it to Monthly, and upgrade. Unfortunately, it's not something I can actually test to give a step by step process.

I am unable to choose Diamond and change it to Monthly - I can only upgrade for a year, no monthly options whatsoever here. 

Is there anyone from support I could e-mail in regards to this?

Okay, I got the diamond and the credit was used from the amount which was spent for the gift by my friend, is that correct? 

Meaning, my gold membership will come back in one month from now?

You will need to use the same process to downgrade back to gold. You'll probably want to set a calendar reminder to do it, since if you don't, you'll stay diamond and it will decrease the amount of time your membership will last.
