Hello everyone. I want to change my username, but there is a nuance. The thing is that the rules say that you can take a nickname from an inactive user who has not logged in for 3 years. So, the account whose nickname I want to take is abandoned and will never be online. That is, that account is my old account. Please help someone......

If the account isn't closed, log into it and change that username then change this one. If it is closed, contact Support using the Help option in the menu. You'll have to be able to prove the old account is yours.

If your current account uses the email address that was on the closed one or if you have access to the old email that's one way.

@shubham AsterLak. I want this nickname.

Okay. I'll try to reach them again. I hope that I will still achieve my goal. Actually, it just seems strange to me. Why can't you just change your nickname? I don't want to do tambourine dancing with this. :))

You can't change your name to one that's already taken. In regards to the regular rules, requiring account inactivity and premium status, the number of requests staff were receiving for inactive usernames likely prompted the requirements.
