I'll duplicate this in site feedback topic, looks like it's the most suitable place
Absence of live chat moderation

It appears you are correct.
Chess.com does not have enough moderators to moderate the chat in every live game played on the site.
It seems likely that the automatic chat monitoring catches a few of the problems.
Evidently you can put on Focus Mode while you are watching a game. That will eliminate the chat.

I'm not saying every game, just live games of top players, such as Nakamura, Carlsen, Caruana etc, or just ones which are showing in 'Playing Now' section. It's not much of a resource needed I believe.
Thanks for recommending Focus Mode, it's certainly helpful in general, but an observer may need some analysis tools, which are not available in it.
The problem is as follows
When I watch some top player game, I also see the game chat in the right lower corner. And it's a totally unmoderated cesspool, where people are constantly insulting each other, spamming and so on. I struggle even to find censored words for things I see here sometimes. It sometimes comes to assaults to underage girls, porn links, player's relatives insults etc. Their conversation has nothing to do with chess.
Even when I send reports nothing happens, at least during a reasonable timeframe. Even when multiple people send report, nothing happens.
The questions I have to chess.com:
1) Where is the chat moderation and why it doesn't exist?
2) If you don't have resources for moderation (which is strange), why cannot you make a simple mechanism for normal people to turn off the chat or block concrete people in it, so I don't see any sus links or countless insults? I would like to see the game, the analysis, but not the chat.
3) Is there ANY way to turn off chats on other people's games?
