If you didn't cheat then fine, I'm sure it will work out. But that is a rather ungracious thing to say about your opponent, who I'm sure is a much better player than the vast majority of the players on this site.
Accused of cheating by chess.com auto message but I didn't cheat

What are you talking about? It labeled my game as suspicious with possible cheating. That's alarming, it shows there is a glitch, or the possibility of someone being banned for cheating when they didn't. And it could be anybody else not me.

Did you have an engine open in the background by any chance? I believe the server is capable of detecting when one is.
The Chess.com software cannot do this.

I was accused of cheating but I didn't cheat.
Before you said 'suspicion'. This is not the same as being accused. If Chess.com had accused you of cheating, your account would have been closed.

No engine open, and it said something about "suspicious." I mistyped, it never actually accused me of cheating just said it was suspicious. It was a blitz game, not a bullet game. That's still unsettling though.

My son is only 12 years old. Recently, he played a blitz game agaist somebody on chess.com. And my son is using blindfold ( can't see actual pieces, just a board ). My son beated that guy, then that guy reported that my son was cheating.
I know you might not pay much atention to my comment because I just have 1300+ on my chess standard But is it really true that they are accuseing you for cheating?? If so could they really not let you play in chess.com if you supocenley cheat? And last how do you right someone up??
Well I hope all this well get fixed, best of lucks and
And Hare Krishna

People who say they're going to report someone for cheating often don't - they're just doing it as a way to let off steam. If you really, really think someone is cheating, report them through https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new.
Chess.com does NOT take that person's word for it, but conducts their own checks for cheating to reach their own conclusions. If you are not in fact cheating (i.e. using a chess engine), then it doesn't matter how many reports get submitted about you, you will be fine.
Incidentally, if your son was blindfolded, presumably you were entering the moves on his behalf and telling him what his opponent was playing?

This dude should be staff immediately

FPigeon: I wouldn't worry about this. We all play perfect moves on occasion, especially if the opponent plays so poorly that the perfect moves are easy to see. It is an automated message that acts more as a warning than anything else. If a person gets a lot of them, then maybe chess.com will investigate more closely. But only getting one isn't a problem.
Caedrel: I think mkhappy was saying that their son was using the special "blindfold" board that is available as an option in Live Chess. With this board, the pieces are invisible.

There you go: you learn something new every day!

I think the reason for the game being tagged as "suspicious" is that the chess.com software was monitoring your game and it found out that many of your moves (in a series) were the exact moves an engine would make (as chess.com has impossible computer script etc), hence you were notified.
I guess it means that our programmers think humans can never play as good as scripts and that humans and scripts can't have the same moves for more than 2-3 times in a row ...

Thanks everybody. I am thinking you should be very cautious to report or tag somebody as a cheater. Basic facts about him: tatics 2300+, chess mentor 2000+, standard 2000+. And also, I realize that, sometimes he played extremely well, sometimes, he played like a crap. Maybe he is a kind of emotional person.
I checked every games he played on chess.com everyday, so I am pretty sure that he didn't cheat at all.
I put comments here, just because his account got closed by chess.com recently. Because his account got closed, I don't know if he received any warning or auto-messages from chess.com, since I can't check the content .
I was doing something else and got distracted and then started trying harder in the middle of the game. My opponent was bad. This message came up saying it flagged my game as suspicious but I didn't do anything. USCF 2100+
