No comment? Or does this mean no update?
Amazon App Store / Marketplace

Thank you for checking into it!
I've spoken with the app developer, hes going to update Amazon soon and will be looking into why the location is being restricted.

hey kohai wheres the app i need it n google want let me in on my android phone
To download anything from MarketPlace (Google Play) you need to have a gmail email address. Once you have one, log into it then go onto Market Place and it'll let you download the app.

kohai maam, if u dont mind me asking, how do u get gmail, tell in complete instructions please.
Two ways.
Either go onto a google search page and enter the text 'gmail' in the text search box
or
click on this link that takes you straight to the form you need to fill out to get a gmail email address
Once you've set that up, its your choice if you ever want to use it, but for some reason MarketPlace (also known as GooglePlay) requires a gmail address before you can download stuff

also kohai in paint how do u get ur stuff or info for questions u want answered pasted in chess.com
If you're unsure on how to take a screenshot, this page shows a step by step guide

Open the Paint application (click on Start in the bottom left of your screen, then All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint).
Paste (hold down Ctrl and press 'V' at the same time) the snapshot will then it into the Paint document, and save it (File -> Save ...).
Save the file to your desktop, then send it in with that image as an attachment
On a mac, its cmd shift 4
Is there a recent chess.com app in the Amazon app store in 2016? The previous app worked fine until a couple of days ago, but now it says it is unsupported and asks you to upgrade/won't work - but I can't seem to find an updated app in the Amazon app store
Are you going to update the Chess.com for Android app in the Amazon App Store? The current one there is older than the one in the Google Play store.
I have a rooted Kindle Fire that I use to get apps from the Google Play store. Your Chess.com app says it's not compatible with my device. I have downloaded and currently running the app (APK) from here -- from the Chess.com site when it was beta/ready for release). I think the reason why it says it's not compatible with my device is because you track the location and use that for serving ads to your customers. The functionality all works, so it's just an advertising-based restriction.
Every time I start the app it says there's a newer version available and it points me to the Amazon App Store and the outdated app there. I need to kill the process on my android device and then start it up again (it seems to check just once a day?). This is really annoying -- so when is the app going to get updated on the Amazon App Store or, better yet, remove the technical restriction for compatibility with my device be requiring to know my location?
thanks,
Mike
