It does exist actually, in the app version of chess.com the arrows are there for when you play against the coaching computer.

it seems it was there:
From the menu, "Options --> Appearance --> Chessboard --> Arrows tab", then check the appropriate box: Show arrows during analysis or calculation or pondering.
Yes it seems to be removed then, there isn't a single setting you can find (beta included) where you can make arrows appear ON the chessboard.
what is the correct way to ask for or suggest that feature?! it's really so much easier for analysis.

Really is a shame
they wasted all their coding on making little boards pop up when you hover over the line you're looking at ... LOL
I just hate that there are no arrows. no disrespect intended .

Arrows are shown on the mobile app but not the desktop app, It's really annoying

it boggles my mind that this isn't a feature on desktop - it makes doing the post game analysis unnecessarily difficult, to put it mildly.
Apologies if I'm just being thick and not seeing the setting.
In the Chess.com game analysis board, I see on the side "Best Move", and the chess notation for the Stockfish line which follows the best move. So for example, Best Move is "6. g4", and Stockfish line displayed would be for instance, "... Bg6 7. Nh4 "
Is there a setting where the there can be an arrow to show Stockfish's best move in the position on the board? So if I manually play the best move g4 in the example above, there would be an arrow on the board showing Bg6. This is one of the functions on another site which I find quite useful to help follow the computer line.
