Analysis Lines Not Showing?

Hi, all, recently for some reason, there are no lines showing on the analysis board. I usually like to have three lines but they are just blank boxes as you can see in this photo when I go to analysis. How do I fix this? I use Chrome browser, and for some reason when I use Microsoft edge, it works.

Thanks, but unfortunately that didn't work. However, choosing Torch as the chess engine did. But I'd prefer to use Stockfish.

I currently have the same problem, did you find a solution?

Marino_Gasqued

Same issue here.

So i had stockfish 16 lite as the default engine enabled, i changed it now to stockfish 16 where you have to download 45 mb and it works fine

Have the same problem. Neither Stockfish 16 lite nor Stockfish 16 (45MB download) work for me. All the others (both Torch's and Komodo) work fine however. The cloud based line works too.

Not a big deal, but it is a slight nuance. The cynical observer might think that Chess.com is trying to push it's own inhouse engine above others...

The full Stockfish and Torch have to download the code before they will run. I'm not seeing any issues changing to Stockfish.

Does the download happen automatically, or do I have to download it separately? Because I waited a few minutes (more than enough for 45MB to download) and nothing changed. Doesn't fix the issue for default Stockfish light either.

It's automatic but how long it takes is going to depend on your connection.

If you're seeing issues on other engines, try clearing your browser cache

Tried clearing the cache (and all history/cookies/permissions related to chess.com for good measure), didn't work. I waited more than long enough for it to download: Torch worked after a few seconds for a similar sized file, and a minute wasn't enough for Stockfish to work.

What browser and version are you on?

HamsterHam

Same issue here and then it breaks certain other websites like twitter. I have to force restart chrome for it to work again. Are you having issues on Chrome as I think that could be the issue as on Edge it works fine.
