Android app - live chess connection

In regards to Android App v3.6.8-19669 (but these questions go back many versions)

What is the "Live Chess Connection" that happens automatically whenever the app is opened?

Why is it automatic and not a toggle or even an option to disable?

Why does it remain open for 30 seconds after the app is used?

Why can i not kill it or stop or do anything to it from the notifications bar like i can with every other app on my phone?

This behavior has occurred on multiple devices over a span of at least 2 years that I can recall.

I have been annoyed with this "Live Chess Connection" behavior but never enough to complain about it until today. Something bugged out and the "Live Chess Connection" on my tablet never closed. I have been using said tablet on and off all day and the "Live Chess Connection" is still there. Still draining battery, connecting to something. I know I can kill the app from within Android. I would rather not see this behavior. I have been a member since 2012 and have never played a live game (maybe once to try it out?) Why do I have not have an option to toggle, disable, block, something the "Live Chess Connection"

Ditto, even after Inturn the app off it's still on.

The newest version of the app doesn't log into Live automatically.
