Hello,
My account was banned for no reason, I have the most kind behaviour, I don’t insult and don’t stall for no reason except for when I am thinking, that’s why I play the 20 minutes games. In the previous days my internet connection was bad and that’s why I left 3 games in a row and that might be the reason. Please check that I am speaking the truth and unban my account.
Thank you in advance!

You weren't banned, otherwise you wouldn't be able to post.

You may be impacted by the Sportsmanship Policy: https://support.chess.com/article/627-sportsmanship-policy

If your rate of disconnect/abandonment/aborts gets too high, as a percentage of recent games, then you can get restricted.

Okay and how do I get free of restriction

Basically play games without those things. It's based on a percentage of recent completed games.

But my friend it doesn’t let me play, how can I play without it
Martin_Stahl

It should still allow you to play, just wait between games. I also believe you can play friends freely.

I doesn't let me, i get this message. It says: Your account has been restricted for violating the Policy of fair play. You can call friends and create open invitations, using typical times. This restriction will be removed when you play more games according to the laws of fair play.

Martin_Stahl

Exactly.  You should be able to play any member on your friend's list or use any of the standard time controls to make a random challenge (no custom times).

If you're saying that's what you are doing and still getting the message, contact support: https://support.chess.com/article/346-contact-us

It might be a mistake. If so, then it is not your fault.

Okay got it, so it's the custom times that made this problem happen. Didn't know 20 minutes is custom. Thank you.

Martin_Stahl

20 is on the quick select time options, should should have worked as I understand it.
