banned from chatting

hello, I believe I have been banned from chatting completely by the mods of this site, and if I have I'd like to respectfully appeal this decision. I'd like the opportunity to reinstate my chatting feature as I use it regularly to talk in depth about strategies. Whether this is just a glitch or intentional based on reports and/or findings of misconduct, I'm hoping to at least speak with someone about it. thanks frequent player

You have no restrictions of any kind on your account and haven't ever had. 

What happens when you try to chat? Still having an issue?

Most sensible players disable chat so you cannot chat to them.

This site is to play chess...not swap recipes.

This gentleman wanted me to add him as a friend, so I did. People usually look at my profile picture and want to be my friend just because of my appearance and stuff...which I think is a bit shallow, but anyway, I don't mind being friendly with everyone, because I like being friendly. So we were chatting about the countries that we live in and we were talking about chess and stuff, and then when I told him that even though I look like a woman, I'm actually a man, he blocked the chat with me. He had no hard feelings, and he left on good terms, but he blocked his chat with me. I'll be honest, I am sad that he did that. I miss his conversations with me, and I miss him and I having friendly conversations and stuff, he seemed like a nice guy, he is a nice guy. It's not my fault that I look like a woman. He thought that I was a woman, so I let him know that yeah, I look like a woman when it comes to my face and stuff, but I am a man technically. Then he blocked the chat with me. I'll be honest, my feelings are hurt. I'm still the same person, even though he may have accidentally thought that I was a woman. I am coming here because my feelings are hurt by what this gentleman did and I am just sad that he didn't want me and him to be chatting anymore. I miss our friendly conversations and stuff. It's not my problem that he accidentally thought that I was a woman and then wanted to chat with me and be my chess.com friend and stuff. I upfront told him that I am a man, not a woman, just so that he doesn't get confused, because I look like a woman, and he blocked the chat. I miss this friend and I am sad :-( I just want to let him know, that I like him as a friend, and that I miss our conversation as friends, chatting about chess and our countries and stuff.
