Banners on homepage

You can see, this from my homepage in this account, that I've been able to close the banner using the x in the top right corner.

But, looking at the home page from another account, there is no x to close it?

Donna, Sorry, but both 'top right corners' appear exactly the same to me, with NO 'x' in either of them, upper right corner (or anywhere), so I'm missing the point you're trying to make.

The top image has already been closed so there must have been an x in the corner. How else could I have closed it?

You have to use AdBlock, or something similar. Just block the element. It's a hassle, but it works more than just the one time, because they re-use their banner ads. Today alone I've blocked five or six elements on the home and play pages.

Except I pay a subscription fee NOT to have ads. These are banners that cannot be stopped

There’s an option within settings to disable ads as premium members I’m pretty sure… I’ll have to find the support article for it again
