Best win records

Are we looking at the same game (knightlord, 1447)? You were threatening his queen and mate... perhaps he let time run out because there was no saving move.

In an over-the-board game, a loss on time because you couldn't find a saving move, a resignation, and a checkmate are counted the same.
After cxd5 Qd8+ and Black loses his queen! But if I were Black I might have played it out a couple more moves to make sure my opponent spotted that.

DOES resignqation give the same score as checkmate for example?
A loss (by checkmate) is a loss (by resignation) is a loss (on time)... they're all scored the same. Everyone is different, but if I were Black in the above position I would play on until White won my queen. At that point I would probably resign unless we were in time trouble or my opponent was much lower-rated.
no resignation cant give same point as that of check mate because resignation means one can not cotinue, that means he will not be awarded any point.

Rubbish. Take up draughts.

Why could not there be penalty points deductions for ALL time outs - discouraging malingers and stopping unfair results.True inability to get to game would be comparitively rare and would have to be taken philosophically like accidentally hitting wrong key, throwing away your key pieces by brainstorm or finding you had forgotten to set the alarm to awake or falling off a ladder etc. ! Would that not be preferable to the chess community in place of endless waiting and checking for a move that is not going to be made? Surely !
My concern is that my "best win" was actually only a win by time out.The player would have demolished my game. This cant be the right way to record best wins as it is actually misleading.Another of my time out "wins" had a checkmate on his move!!!
