Are you on a PC? If so, what version of windows? Any plugins or extensions on your browser? Are you having the issue on any other browsers?

pc windows 8. no plugins or extensions that i know of. just upgraded my java. i use chrome for my browser -- haven't tried anything else. Thanks for your post. please get back to me on this -- i just paid the money to switch my account to gold.

Are you using Chrome in App mode or desktop mode? Can you please try using IE -- just so we can see if its an issue with the browser, not permanently :)

Are you visiting the site through the Facebook app? Or have you recently? If so, try clearing your cache and cookies, then visit the site but not through the Facebook app.

Loading the site through Facebook seems to be the issue and staff is looking into it. I tested and had the same problem. It even caused issues when loading the full site outside of Facebook.
I got things to work by clearing the cache and cookies. Then tested by loading the main site, www.chess.com, and used the logon with Facebook option. So, if you want to access the site while they work on a fix, that should work.

I just tested and it loaded fine through Facebook. If you are still having problems, clear your cache and cookies and try again.

Hi -- my computer immediately jumps to a black screen, even though I can hear the moves being played. I am using chrome as my browser and just updated my javascript. any ideas???
