Mike, I know this seems like too simple an answer, but perhaps they're accidentally clicking on "send" too quickly? Don't know...
Blank messages

I have no indication that my messages are not being sent. It is the messages that I am receiving from other users that don't seem to be working properly. I will direct them to this thread and maybe we can find the problem. Perhaps some browser compatibility / outdated version issue.

Friend of mine seems to have the same problem which started about the same time. He recently upgraded his browser(internet explorer) prior to this. He switched to google chrome, no improvement. Could it be the antivirus(AVG)? Have you found a solution yet?

I have both IE and FireFox installed so I just use FireFox for Chess.com as it gives me no issues on Chess.com at all.

Thanks Rob. It seems he now has googlechrome working. I sent an inquiry to the tech staff at Chess.com and they suggested not using the new version of IE, I guess there has been a few problems. Sorry for my late reply and thanks for your help.

Do you mean IE 9?

Yes, IE 9. I have noticed in the past some problems don't affect all, some are in some regions, so on the other side of the pond there may be no problems with IE 9. Just a suggestion that was given by the Chess.com tech help.

I guess I'll keep 8, then.
I thought this was on someone else's end, but it just happened when another person sent me a message. They reply, and it shows up exactly as it should if they didn't type anything in the body of the message. Only what I originally sent them is shown. Now, this is possible, but it's happened about 4 times with one person, and now another time with another person, and neither of them had any reason to not type their message.
Note this isn't happening with everyone, just these two people so far, and I have received messages (including replies) between these events. Here's a copy/paste of the most recent one:

I'd be up for this, definitely. It's always nice to play someone in a low stress, but serious game. My skype is , feel free to add and message me and perhaps we can work something out.
(End message)...I doubt there's a way to recover the messages from my end, though an admin may be able to reach into the sender's "sent messages" box to pull them out, but more importantly, is there any way this can be prevented in the future?
