It's not really a downloadable image. It is a way you can quickly insert it to a blog/forum or embed it on a remote site (with the options at the top of that panel).
Have you tried rotating the board before doing the share link? (that's what I did for the below).
It's not the link, rather the image below the link as in this Imgur picture (with me dragging the board with my mouse to the right) i.imgur.com/R6veci7.png. I'm able to drag and drop that image elsewhere, but it only shows white's perspective.

That is different. Kind of surprised it doesn't use the original orientation. You could bug report it (Help > Report a bug). I don't think it is actually a bug but just a design decision. Alternatively, you could open a ticket and make it as a suggestion: https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new
This appears to be undocumented, but you can add extra url parameters for coordinates and flip board:

On a chess.com analysis board, one can click on the download button (below the "Previous Move" button), go to the Share option (three dots connected by lines), and find a downloadable image. It is from white's perspective.
Is there any way to generate the image from black's perspective?
