I don't believe there are any keyboard shortcuts for setting up under analysis. If you know how to build a FEN by hand, you could type it all in and import from that.

Thanks for the reply Martin.
While at the moment typing FEN doesn't sound easier I'm intrigued about whether this is something worthwhile invest the effort to be fluent on. I always figured that's a notation left for computers to generate for exporting purposes rather than something one inputs by hand, but it doesn't look too complicated. Do you do that or know people who do?

I have built a FEN string by hand before for simple endgames, but I always have to look up some of the end fields since I never remember them. It's actually a good way to notate a position by hand when playing OTB (though taking a picture is even easier).
I'm struggling with the same problem. Is there an easy way to put same pieces on the board without dragging each of them?
on another chess site you can drop multiples of the same piece with out dragging every one. Chess com please add a multi drop feature, so frustrating and low productivity. thank you.

Hello folks, I was wondering if there's a way to add multiple of the same piece (say pawns) without having to go and drag every time.
On another site I click on say the black pawn icon and then click on all the squares I need and can set up a position very quickly.
