I agree, moving a piece chess com destroys my ears, I cant watch youtube on other window I have to put chrome on 10% volume because of chess com... at least let us turn it off!!!

the win or lose sounds it makes are just wow too loud.. like cruz0e said 10% volume and it sounds like 100%

If you're on chrome you can get an extension called "volume master" that can control the volume of each tab.

Yea but that won't solve any problems on mobile. People have been asking for volume sliders on the app and site for YEARS to no avail. At this point it's no secret that this platform is kinda infamous for not listening to people's feedback at all and making changes that nobody wanted while refusing to make any changes that the people wanted. It's very sad that this is the norm in all game-related industries and chances of things getting any better is literally zero.
Live Chess Board move sounds are too loud compared to other tabs.
