I am having the exact same problem as “GenghisKent”. Brave Browser on ipad will not load. I have also deleted the app, reinstalled, yet same problem exists. I have also tried turning off some blockers/shield, but same issue exists. We appreciate anyone’s help, suggestions.

Ok I may have discovered the problem. When I went to Chess.com using a search engine, instead of my “Favorite” bookmark I have for Chess.com, looking to see if anyone else was having problems with the Brave Browser and I saw this topic after I made my first post, I tried to see if anything worked on Chess.com in which nothing worked previously. BUT everything worked now! So then I thought to myself, “Ok why does chess.com work when going through the search engine?” And then I realized that maybe there was something wrong with the “Favorite” bookmark I had been using to go to Chess.com. So I deleted this Chess.com “favorite” bookmark and then created a new “favorite” bookmark from where I was at presently on Chess.com. AND IT WORKED!!
Everything seems to be working fine on Chess.com now. So maybe this is a solution for any issues on the Brave Browser where a website is not functioning. Glad to have found a solution, just wish I knew why the “favorite” bookmark got corrupted somehow?

I have discovered that if I follow a chess.com search result that doesn’t lead to the home page (say the page with chess opening lessons) it works. But as soon as I attempt to go to the chess.com homepage, it freezes up again.
If you or anyone else has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them.

The homepage has different options depending on if you have customized what is showing there. That is https://www.chess.com/home
So it's possible something loading there is causing an issue with Brave. You can modify what's shown under Settings > Home Settings

I went to my settings and got rid of some of the options I never use and it appears to have solved my problem!

I’ve been using the Brave browser on my iPad for most of this last year and have been quite happy with it. And chess.com has been working great for the last couple of months but in the last few days a problem has appeared. The chess.com page won’t load completely. The progress bar stops at about 90% and none of the buttons are active. Has anyone else had this problem?
This morning I decided to delete brave and redownload it but the problem persists. Can anyone offer me any help?
