My friend and i want to remove the feature that prevents you from getting yourself into a check/checkmate and shows you where you can safely block a checkmate etc.

There isn't a feature that allows you to move into check, if that's what you're asking. There also isn't one that shows you what moves can block checks.
I want to disable the feature that makes it impossible to move into check, and to get baited into check. This site makes it impossible to bait somebody into check through a direct move. There is a feature that shows you which moves block checks. For example, when you are in check, the only options you have is to move king to a spot the AI tells you is safe, or the AI will basically tell you which piece you can move where to block it. I want to remove these features to make it like a actual casual boardgame of chess

If you have Show Legal Moves on, it will show you that, but otherwise it isn't giving you hints. You can't turn off that setting and there isn't a setting to allow illegal moves.
