I recieved a $50 Vanilla Gift Card for Christmas and was hoping to find out if it is possible to pay for a chess.com membership using said card. I've seen a post with a similar question, which was answered with a "no". If anyone can answer, please do.
Thanks, ClipprMusic
Edit: I found another post that mentions that any card with "Visa" on it was accepted, which mine has, however after testing to make the purchase chess.com has shown "This card is not accepted. Please try a different card."
Only cards that allow subscriptions can be used. A gift card wouldn't normally allow that.
You could log off and gift a membership to yourself, since that's not a subscription, and that should work.
