I'm having the same problem on my android HTC one and reinstalling the app isn't solving it. I'm using the "Chess Play and Learn" app by Chess.com. Has the OP or anyone else found a solution?

Unfortunately none of the above solutions solved the problem so since I'm too bored to create a brand new account, I'm gonna stick with browser-based play. Thanks for the advice though!

I've just downloaded thee chess.com android app on my Sony XPeria L. I already have an account on the site via facebook login method, but in the application when i try to connect via fb it brings up an error message saying that i don't have an account.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
I've tried re-signing up on the application with my current user name but it says that the username is already in use.
