can’t play with friends

I have three friends and we are all trying to play each other on the app. Two of us on iphone, two on Android. When we try to “play with friends” and select a friend, it says they are not online, even though some of us are in the same room and we can see the green ‘online’ circle. None of us receive the challenge notifications, whether by app notification or email. It just continues to say challenge sent. All tried logging out and in again, eventually, one of us successfully sent me a challenge, but I then noticed she wasn’t in my friends list and can’t add her as a friend, as she’s “not online” even though we are literally playing online chess together!?!! Is the app just really buggy when it comes to playing with friends? The fact that 4 people are all having the same issue leads me to believe so. Is this a known issue? Thanks

check ur settings, it might be rating range issues, u probably set to specific challenges

If two people sat in the same room, on the same “play chess” part of the app and the app keeps saying those two people are offline, and notifications are not set, despite allowing all notifications from said app, then the app is buggy or very, very badly made. Maybe you just don’t have any real life friends to play with
