can´t reset my pasword

Hi, chess.com changed my password and I don't know why. I have hit the reset password button, but don't get an instruccions, e-mail. and I also contacted support but don't get an answer. What can I do? I created this account to be able to write in forums. My user name is ajaberk

If you can't reset the password, it's very likely the email address on it is incorrect or had a typo.

As to why it was changed, you probably used the same password on a different site that was compromised and staff here reset it because of that.

If you're not getting the password reset email, you'll have to wait for staff to get back with you. Though, they may not be able to link the account to you if there's an issue with the email.

They have been getting va lot of tickets, so it may be a while before they get back to you.

I have the same issue with my account yuann.  EduardoMartin1 could you please help me with that? My account was reset about a week ago, and I don't receive the password reset email either after multiple tries in different days. 

I am having the same issue for almost a week. Same thing happened, chess.com reset my password. I had to recover a really old aol email, but the reset password email never sends. Chess.com support did however contact me back with a copy and paste of how to reset your password. I feel really insulted by that response after a long wait for it. I had already tried changing my password every hour for almost 8 hours straight and again the next day. I had already checked my spam folder. It is not the wrong email or when you try and change your password it will tell you there is no account connected to that invalid email. My account is over a decade old on chess.com and I am usually and currently diamond member status. Right now I feel like chess.com has erased my entire history on this website and blocked my access from content I am paying for by changing my password then not helping when I contact them about the password reset email not sending.

I have an account on chess.com and want to use that account on the chess app, I forgot my password (obviously) and I clicked reset password. It just took me to the website where I was logged in but no reset password prompts appeared
