Hello people,

Is there a way to check your own CAPS score? If so, can you check other people's too? If not, is there a DIY way of finding your score though?

Thanks

Why not ask in the very lengthy thread after the article about CAPS scores?

When performing an analysis (Only shows up for me when I do a maximum analysis), you see the CAPS rating of both White and Black under the best move percentage.

Is there a way the check my average CAPS score? The answer above is for a single game only.

No.

Can't u just average all the game CAPS to get the average CAPS?

I don't know if the question was directed towards me or the site. Me, of course, I can, but it's a hassle that could be easily avoided if chess.com displayed it in our profiles.

The site doesn't analyze every game, and the quick analysis doesn't go to a depth for the best accuracy, so it wouldn't be terribly useful as a statistic.

You can see accuracy in statistic page. E.g.: https://www.chess.com/stats/live/bullet/Andrew123Shi

Don't understand: there is deference between CAPS and average accuracy (in standard 1 hour 30 minutes games)? Think there is, because Hikaru has average accuracy about 92%. that is 2200 CAPS rating: https://www.chess.com/article/view/better-than-ratings-chess-com-s-new-caps-system.

There is no difference. "Accuracy" is just a revised name for CAPS. (That what site CEO Erik said at one point.)

You shouldn't judge Hikaru based on the rapid games he plays. I would guess that most of the games he played were not serious.
