Castling doesn't work...

Same problem. Experienced player and first time today castling does not work. Not nice... I tried even to do that as soon or early as possible but it does not work. I don't know what or where is the bug...

If you were using the process of clicking the king and then the rook, that won't work. You need to click the king and the destination square instead.

As I quoted (Chess.com) in my comment before this one, according to Chess.com's new rule, you need to move the king two spaces towards the rook in order to castle.

Thanks. It is working by clicking first king and then double klicking the right square for king. no prob any more.

Ye mine's not working either. It was fine/functional till a month ago. Bloody annoying

If you are using click-move you have to click the king and then the king's destination square. Clicking the king and then the rook no longer works in standard chess.

Three possibilities :

• You are trying to castle in an illegal position (How do I castle? - Chess.com support)
• You are trying to castle by clicking on the king and then the rook. This method does not work anymore. To castle, move the king two squares, or on top of the rook you want to castle with.
• Technical issue (clear cache, connexion issues, contact support team?)

Had the same problem for a few games already.

Unable to solve problem till date show that this sight is useless and time wasting
