Change to login

Is there a way of changing how I login to my account? I currently use Facebook to login, but I was wondering if it was possible to change this to login via email? The reason being, my work computers have a block on Facebook, so even on my lunch break I can't login in to chess.com, and I really want to. Really don't want to have to create a whole new account and start over to do this. Is it possible?

Change your password (https://www.chess.com/home/change_password) and try to login with your username and new password.

Can't change a password without inputting the old password. So that method doesn't seem to work.

Your old password is your password on facebook? Try it.

The site only allows one account per member, so you could close this one if you want to use that one.

Can play on the old chess board as old format is good .can see all options eg friends tournaments option time etc to operate simultaneously while playing as no need to go back and see the tournaments option   this format is not convinent as before  thanks 

How to close this account

Settings -> Manage Account -> Close My Account

I can not log in to my account. Spinetoli is my user name.

What happens when you try to log in?

You just posted with your own account.

I cannot login because I don’t have access to the email address I used to establish the account. I now use another address.

When you send me a code it goes to the old address which I cannot access.

You're logged in to post. You should be able to go in and change your email

I don’t know how to do that. I’m an old man with poor technology skills. 😊

The main Settings page on the website has the email.
