Chatting Access

Hi all,

I am on chess.com from Nov. 6, 2013 and I am admin of my group. Still I cannot chat in live chess group chat room. When I try to send my message, I get forllowing reason to stop me from chatting.

As a new Chess.com member you are not yet able to chat in this room (to prevent abuse).

Firts of all I am not new and secondly why can't I talk to my own group's members?

Which version of the site are you running on?

Double check your Live chat settings and make sure your chat isn't turned off or set to friends only.

I have ckecked that too. Everything is perfect there. As you suggested, I also contacted to chess.com support. Waitng for their reply now.

Answering my own question now. You must play 10 live games to get access to chat in live chess group chat room.

Thanks for the update. I was not aware of that limitation.

Even one of supporting staff members was not aware of this. Initially when I contacted them, she said you must play 5 games. When I played 5 games, still didn't have access. So I contacted her again and this time she apologised and said I must play 10, not 5 games to gain access. 

Yeah, I know some anti-spam things were added to the site a while back but wasn't aware of the chat limitation. Good to know for the future. I don't recall seeing that information in the help/FAQ documents so hopefully that will get added if it isn't there and I've missed it.
