"Check your game alert"

My "Check your game against ...." alert has stopped functioning when it's my move in a daily chess game. I have to go into "My Games" and check to see if it's my move.  The Help staff at chess.com have been pleasant but can't seem to figure it out.  

I have an older iMac running Yosemite 10.5.5.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Which version of the site are you on? And which browser and version?

Also, stupid question, but you have verified that the alert option is turned on?

Hi.  I'm on the newer version of the site, yes I have verified the alert option is on, and suddenly this morning it's working...go figure.  A watched car always works for a mechanic!  And thanks for responding and trying to help, not a stupid question.   I checked that about a million times...

Oops...I lied.  The alert came on for your notes, Martin_Stahl.  Not for the game...hmmm...might be a clue.

If you haven't done it, you might try clearing your cache.
