chess apk android new version

I am facing problem in new version of chess apk (android).
Actually, I can't play at all. Whenever I start a game, the screen becomes hazzy and the the board and home display come back and forth. And the game automatically ends with a decrease in my rating. I am writing this post using old version (which is a bit slow). Can anybody help me??? Thanks

Which versions are you talking about? Also, if you're not loading through the app store, then you might not be getting the real app.
Thanks for post. My old version is 3.4.07. And the problematic new version is 3.5.0b1.

That is the beta and there is a newer one. I'm on 3.5.0b2.
You might also try clearing your app cache.
