chess.com app for Kindle Fire HD 8

I'm thinking of getting the Fire HD 8 - how does chess.com do on that device?  Is it better to go through a browser and use the website, or to download an app?

If the Fire isn't a good tablet for chess.com, what reasonably priced tablet would you recommend?

chess.com does work on the fire.

I'm having lots of issues with mine. Haven't down loaded the app and am using the Silk browser. The board size shrinks for no apparent reason to me, and after about 3 moves the browser freezes up. I've tried deleting the browser history but I have the same results.

This is rapidly becoming no fun at all and that's a shame, particularly with all that I previously was able to do!! DO YOU HEAR ME CHESS. COM SUPPORT ??!!!!???

. BTW, I've no issues using Old Chess.com!!! 

Can anyone point me in the right direction? This is very frustrating as I shelled out

the big bucks and don't have time to search thru seemingly endless topics for a solution. 

Should I be using the app? 

You can install Google Playstore and dump their useless default browser and use Chrome instead.
