Why wouldn't you just use the website?

Isn't the macbook just a laptop?

If you want to let them know, you have to do a bug report.  You obviously can't use the app to make a report. I would say that an email to support@chess.com is your best bet.

The app is designed to work in the iOS platforms, so I'm going to guess they're not going to spend effort getting it to work outside of phones and tablets.

Hey! Can you please provide the following information:

  1. App version
  2. Login method used (Google, FB, etc)
  3. Does the same version of he app works fine in iOS?
  4. Exactly at which point does the app hangs for you? After you enter credentials or even before that? Can you try deleting the app, reinstalling and seeing if it hangs as soon as you launch after installing?
