Chess.com changed my username without telling me

I tried to log in to my account this morning and it stated that an account with that username didn't exist. I signed in through my email and saw my account name had been changed from "[removed -- MS]" to "P_pantzz". No email was sent to me about this and I'm genuinely confused as to why they wouldn't just say "hey we got new software that finds this name offensive, please change before moving forward" because now I'm stuck with a name I don't like and have to put in a ticket to change it. Really not cool on chess.com's part. Has anyone else had an issue with this?
Generally speaking, usually a warning is given to change an inappropriate username before a forced change, though staff may not go that same route, especially if you had been reported for an inappropriate username.
That said, are you sure you can't change your username without a ticket? When staff does it I don't know if it triggers that restriction.

Yeah it won't let me move forward and says I already used my one name change request. idk who blocked my old username in the initial message but old name rhymed with "soupy pants" and had zeros for o's. I only ever got compliments on the name and it was usually a great conversation starter against new opponents. I'm guessing some sore losers reported the name out of spite.
