Chess.com Icons Glitch

I am having a problem with the new chess.com. Up to a few days ago it was fine, but today when I signed in, I noticed that all of the icons had been replaced with other characters (sometimes letters, numbers, and some symbols that I don't recognize). All of the functions work fine, just the icons are different. However, once I enter live chess, I can once again see the icons. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a way that I can fix this?

Just checked, and realized that this problem is only in the new chess.com. In v2, everything works fine. 

It is a known problem. I reported it to staff earlier today.

I am having the same issue. At first I thought it was my old computer, so I got on my new one and it was normal for about 5 minutes and now it's weird letters and numbers and whatnot too.

Came here to post the same problem. Glad only to know it wasn't just me.

Same thing has been happening to me for a couple of days. 

I'm having the same V3 issue with the website, but only when viewed via my Android phone.  The icons display normally on my laptop computer.

Looks like the problem may be fixed now.

@Martin, yes, the icons are now back to normal on my phone.

not fixed for me, been going on for a while now....

should add, I login to the website, no apps....

I have only had the problem recently on a slow connection, where the page doesn't fully load all scripts. If you have blocking software, it may be blocking some assets; not everything is hosted on the chess.com domain, some are on other URLs and the site uses a content delivery network so blocking could prevent those things from loading.

Thanks for the reply Martin, I used Chess.com with firefox on computer, tried Chrome, seems to have gotten rid of a few glitches, only did puzzles tho, but haven't wandered around the site to see if they are all okay. Will try on Chrome when next I play my friend online - What precipitated the issue (to the point of looking to fix it as it's been happening for few years) was trying to say after the game "he was a good sport" (symbol) and accidentally marked the one for "he is a dirt ball".(symbol)...

I am guessing I picked the wrong icon to click because the site said "sorry to hear that, BLOCK , REPORT"

Luckily he is a friend, and good sport, so when I called to tell him I had Downvoted him, he laughed..but I would not like it to happen again.

Same glitch for me and I accidentally reported someone as a bad sport. Cant get rid of the strange symbols and letters, i think they happened when I was asked to upgrade to a different version and I accepted.

Not an issue with my browser because it is same in Chrome and Firefox

Can anyone help?

If you're talking about the app, maybe uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks. I turned off ad-blocker and re-started Chrome and it works.

Ad-blocker still on in Firefox and problem persists.

If its a response to ad-blocker, a straightforward message would be nice. Ads are unobtrusive and I have no problem with them on this site.

I do not believe the site is purposely doing it due to the ad blocker. It's most likely the ad blocker is blocking some script (s) that are causing the issue you're seeing.
