Classic puzzle setting not working

The new daily puzzle system is terrible. I keep trying to flip on the Classic setting but nothing happens? Does anyone know how to fix this. Thinking about uninstalling due to this change.

You toggle the setting off and it doesn't remember it? Are you doing it in the puzzle interface or under Settings > Puzzles ?
