Closed Account Online

Random question. So one of my opponents recently got closed by the site for fair play. But I noticed that despite his account being closed, he still had that green light on, meaning he must be online. (sorry, no pics)

I just thought it was weird. Is that normal? What do closed accounts even see?

I looked at your recent games and didn't see any against a player whose account had been closed for fair play violations.

I only saw that one of your opponents had closed his own account. ( That is the grey circle with an x.)

Very very odd. I've seen it a bunch of times. 

In case anyone is still wondering, well, the account is indeed closed, and still is. It can happen because maybe they were online when their account closed, and will eventually time out, or a staff is investigating their account.

happened to me, but when I refreshed the page before it said they were banned, there was no icon, so most likely just happeed then

Yep, did the nuclear option. First person I've ever blocked in all my time on this site.

Hope they also don't mind that I kicked them out of a club I'm admin of - no way I will tolerate this behaviour.
