By mentioning the name you are advertising another site. Someone might google it and check out the site. As I said, business is about competition.

People can always check out our competitors using a Google search or checking out any number of review sites: Chess.com sees no reason why they should support their competitors on the forums that they host and maintain. There's no need to name the other site - Chess.com will tolerate it if you publish a game diagram of a game played elsewhere, but not the link to that game.

Whenever in forums or articles if it mentions competitor sites the admins delete it or lock the forum. Even if we arent supporting it or saying anything about it.
It shows up as this (removed).
For example [sometimes we edit it so that it reads more naturally - David, moderator]
p.s i know this will get locked but can someone give me a reasonable answer. Also if u know the chess.com team plz give me the link so i can send this to them
