I think you mean perpetual check--that is a draw. If a player checks his opponent continuously and the other player can't help it--it's a draw. Offer draw or accept draw...
There is no limit to the number of consecutive checks.
Perpetual check refers to multiple identical checks, which trigger the rule that if the same position happens 3 times on the board, then the game is an automatic draw. The rule itself is not about checks though.
