Daily Chess Cheat

I just found out that in daily games you can use an engine to assist you without leaving chess.com.

While on the daily game, > Explore > Practice with computer.
You can try out various moves against the computer, I guess it's alright but my problem is that you can use the "hint" feature which gives you ideas for your ongoing game. And when you try out a move the engine will evaluate your moves and tell you if it's the best move or a blunder, anyone can use this to get an advantage in their games.

How should I go about reporting this to Chess.com? Is the forums enough?

If someone does that, they risk getting their account closed.

I had the same question.  I didn't know that feature existed until yesterday, which could explain why it feels like I'm playing the computer, although I'm playing a 900 rated player.

Not only do you not need to leave Chess.com, you don't have to leave the game. Selecting Analysis, Explorer takes you the page with the option to "Practice against computer", which automatically sets up the game as it is. The "Hint" feature then gives (I presume) the best move.

If this is cheating, then why is it allowed to be reached directly through the game?

It seems to me that if it is cheating, it should be removed from the Explorer menu or a warning pop up that using it is cheating. If it's not cheating, then it would be nice to have a definitive statement to that effect in this forum.

This is apparently available only on the PC, as are conditional moves, and not on the Android app.

Use of engines in games is not allowed:

I understand that. What I don't understand is why "Practice against computer" option is available in the Explorer section of Daily Chess. If it's not allowed to be used, why is it there?
