Daily chess - options sometimes not displayed among which 'Open Challenges'

Sometimes while visiting daily chess, i cannot see a couple of options.

I have two screenshots:

Correct situation:

Incorrect situation, where the options 'Play a friend', 'Custom Challenge' and 'Open challenges' are not being displayed:

Could this be a bug?

Not a bug. The time control is 10 minutes (Live) in that second image so none of the Daily options will show.

I don't know how it decides which time control to show there; maybe the last completed game time control or the last sent challenge?

This is all about daily chess, not live chess. n both cases this was the url:

I know. But you can start a Live game from there; that is why the time control option says 10 min
in that second image.

The buttons below that are context sensitive. If you see the 10 (or any other Live control) click the down arrow and and change it to a Daily time control. Then the buttons will show up.

OK I got it, still strange that I had never touched those time control buttons.

Join a tournament always shows.

Yeah, I rarely do. When I was looking at mine, it was on 1 min and I have only played one bullet game.

We can no longer choose our own color when creating challenges. Please remedy asap. Thanks.
