Hello,
I am hoping to end my confusion about daily game move "limit" and the "auto-accept draw" feature as described on the chess.com site:
Chess.com will now end live games in a draw automatically if the 50 move limit is reached. For Daily games you must claim the draw by clicking the draw button. If 50 moves have passed then your opponent will not need to accept, and the game will be a draw.
I am in a daily game with 66 moves and clicked the "1/2 draw" button to get the draw completed, but a message under the move list says "Draw Offered Waiting for opponent's response". I thought the instructions above indicate there is no need to have the opponent accept the draw in such conditions?
Thanks for your kind help in reading my question and potentially providing an answer, but please no guesses.
Thanks.
The draw being mentioned is the Chess rule where a draw can be claimed if 50 moves have been completed without any captures or pawn moves. I doesn't have to do with the length of the game.
