DNS & Chess.com Connection Problems

I've had some issues the past couple of days but nothing to get in a twitch over. My firefox seems to have some problems but if I can't get on there, I use IE. So, no worries here.

What kind of issues did you have on Firefox specifically?

Hi,
Are there still issues? I only ask as chess.com's DNS failed on me again just now then started working again - Other sites were fine - Chess.com has been working fine all evening prior to this point. Interestingly this was about the same time that it failed last time on 27 August.
I may just send my own thoughts to Network Solutions...

Having DNS issues for the last few days. Tried the DNSflush, but the problem still comes and goes. Any suggestions?

How do you do the DNSflush from the Commard Promt? I've tried it but is said: "The requested operation requires elevation."

Traceroute is a command which can show you the path a packet of information takes from your computer to one you specify. It will list all the routers it passes through until it reaches its destination, or fails to and is discarded. In addition to this, it will tell you how long each 'hop' from router to router takes.
In Windows, select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. This will give you a window like the one below.
Enter the word tracert, followed by a space, then enter
chess.com
So it should look like this
tracert chess.com
then press enter on your keyboard.
Once its done, click in the top left corner then on Edit and Select all.
click top left corner again, Edit then on copy. You can then paste it in this thread, or in an email to me. kohai@chess.com
This is important as other members may be experiencing the same issue. Also please include if this happens all the time, randomly or specific times of day please.

Am I in trouble?

I just joined (sorry if I shouldn't be posting to an old thread) - but it's 2016 and chess.com appears to be breaking my internet connection! I am connecting via mobile wi-fi on my Blackberry, which may have something to do with it.
Yes, I understand that! I just didn't want to make a new topic about it when I saw this one :)
