there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email he was sent. this implies he is now subscribed ie on a mailing list. As it was unsolicited its not through choice. is there a way to confirm hes not on a mailing list without pressing the unsubscibe link (unsubscribe links can be a way for spammers to confirm an email is legitimate)

As it says above really. someone i invited doesnt like his email address been given out and i totally forgot to respect this. I would hate to think they got spam or other mails from chess.com because of me.
