Wikipedia it up to understand the details, but here's a short description:

A simple way of representing all the information needed to reconstruct any chess position including memory-based parameters (who is to move, did castling take place or is it still possible for White/Black?) was formulated a while ago by two gentlemen (Forsyth and Edwards) and came to be called the Forsyth-Edwards Notation for chess.

They are either in these places, If you want to post your game in FEN string format - Follow this

Go to an Online Chess game, and once you are on the page of that game and you see the little tab on the right. Click "Moves" and then in that little box there will be FEN String and you just copy that FEN string and paste it into the puzzle box thingy. Good luck if you need help again (Just ask I am not a very good explainer sorry)
