Fix your matchmaking that matches people that are 1k+ rating higher in other formats

Fix your matchmaking, why am i getting matched with people who have 1300 rapid while im 400 elo and only played blitz. Other formats should influence who you can match against, 1k+ rapid players literally farming beginners in blitz, give up to lose elo then do it again.

It is true that people can have vastly different ratings for different time controls.

The problem used to be worse. I think they started using a player's active rating from one time class to set the starting rating for another class several years ago.

yeah very different to lower your elo on purpose to farm beginners. there should be enough players to not match someone who has 400 elo blitz under 100 games with a 1300 rapid player with over 500 games

lying that you are a beginner than drop 90%+ accuracy on 400 elo players. GJ chesscom destroy your site.

If someone purposely lowers their rating they can get reported for sandbagging using the report option on their profile.
