Game abandoned???!!!

Twice now, in my game against MZ95 on 4/24 and against algost96 on 4/22, I lost when it said game abandoned. But I was watching their clock running, waiting for them to move, when suddenly my opponent won--and their clock reset!! I did NOT lose my connection, as I was watching my opponent's clock run. I want my lost points back!

It could be your connection. Sometimes it appears as though you're watching your opponent's clock dwindle down but on the server they've already played a move and it's your clock that's ticking, it just doesn't update on your end. I would recommend refreshing your tab every once in a while if you feel like your opponent is taking more than a minute or so per move because it may just not be displaying their move and it's your clock that's running down. Besides that there's not much else other than making sure you have a stable connection. Points don't really get refunded for stuff like that so I wouldn't bother, just keep playing good chess and your rating will work itself out 💪
